Travancore Foundation was formed on 17th September 2009 with a vision to provide dignified, healthy, and secure lives to seniors of our society, through person-centered quality care enriching their lives by nurturing spiritual and human values with a focus on community-based care, education, and research.
As a comprehensive senior care solution provider to older adults, Travancore Foundation foresees and understands, intricacies while addressing their manifold requirements. Each senior is unique and so are their strains. Just providing their basic needs may not suffice to reassure them of their well-being. Hence we began to search beyond being a food and accommodation provider to them.
It is common that in old age, the majority of seniors have distinctive health issues which bother them and they seek external help in dealing with it. Similarly, their requirement could be home care, daycare, or institutional care. Here again, it could be of Social Worker, Physiotherapist, dietitian or qualified nurse, or just a helper, can be a Counsellor, a psychiatrist, or a good general physician.
At, Travancore Foundation we have a holistic view of senior care services. We constantly strive to successfully address all the care needs of a senior in the most appropriate and suitable way. From basic care to high care requirements of an older adult. The Foundation, thus stands apart in its uniqueness in providing Lifelong Care. This constant demand necessitated Travancore Foundation to embark on setting up a full fledge, Education and Research Centre on Aging in its Campus.

Travancore Foundation remains strongly committed to our values and mission to guarantee the best possible care for our residents at all times. To this end, our vision will be augmented by education and research in aging through Travancore Foundation Education and Research Center on Aging (TF ERCA). The foundation operates in a global context bringing the world into TF ERCA through novel technology and experiential learning. Put simply, our task is to evolve and meet the dynamic elder care demands of the modern world. Global forces shape our lives as societal and family values change and converge. We have the opportunity as well as the imperative to embrace change but also to preserve our traditional family values. I am certain that we will continue to amass achievements as we expand our services to Adult Day Care, Home Care, Palliative Care, and Short-term Rehabilitation (post-acute care).
The Bible proclaims that “we are the light of the world”. It is critical to integrate and introspect this in our daily routine; the light that shines and illuminates the path to a new horizon with clarity, confidence, and commitment to build a secure and safe future for seniors.
